Walking regularly is a great form of exercise, and isn’t just good for your body – it’s great for your mind, too!
Regular exercise will improve your mood and increase feelings of wellbeing – and it can even help relieve feeling of depression. Being outside in the fresh air has been linked to better mental wellbeing and reduced stress.
Walking can also be a social activity when done in a group or with friends, so it can help to tackle feelings of isolation or loneliness.
With this in mind, Residence Life wants to invite you to join us on a Walk to Wellbeing on Wednesday 21st March at 12.30pm meeting at The Edge Piazza on 34 Endcliffe Crescent, Sheffield, S10 3ED.
The walk will begin at around 1pm following a safety briefing where you will be allocated a group leader.
The first part of the walk will be to Forge Dam where some of you may want to finish your walk. Then part two of the walk will be from Forge Dam to Fox House and it is advisable that only the strongest walkers join us for this part of the walk.
Then we can all catch the bus back to Ecclesall Road and make our own way home!

You must register with a valid email account and telephone number so we can contact you a week before the Walk to Wellbeing with a pre-walk safety briefing note.
